Having a baby in Germany as a foreigner
Pregnancy and looking forward to your baby is such an exciting time! But what awaits me in Germany? Who will be my doctor? What does it cost? What about Mutterschutz, and where do I give birth? Does it make a difference whether we are married or not?
The FGZ offers information and support: in a two-hour online seminar we talk about birth formalities, parental leave and all other questions you have in mind (and maybe answer some more you did not even think about yet…)
Feel free to register early! You can start from the 15th week of pregnancy.
